just cause you don't benefit from it or gain anything, doesn't mean others don't. Its the same as religious beliefs, spiritual beliefs etc. Whatever can help one improve? their circumstances, attitude, way of life, relationships etc, is their choice and i would rather a whole population trying to better themselves rather than trying to kill each other.

I think that people who read self-help books know they are not perfect and they are willing to take time off to improve themselves. I might disagree with some things that George Carlin says but he is the best comedian I've ever seen and? he was a man who was WAY ahead of his time
